Desiree's Baby Showers

On Saturday, we attended a shower in Poth for Desiree and Blake.  I managed to make it home from the shower with pictures of Tinsley only.

Watching Desi open up all of her goodies.

Desiree's cousins little girl was at the shower and REALLY wanted to hug Tinsley.  Tinsley was not too into standing still long enough for hugs.

We spent a lot of time at this door wanting to go outside to meet their dogs.
On Sunday, we had a shower at our house for Desi and Blake.

The Mitchell boys

When daddy is at home, Tinsley definitely wants to be with him.  He does way more fun stuff than mom!  Activities with dad normally means being around animals and being outside.  Today, daddy was even more cool because Hagen and Wells were with him.

Busy Weekend

We went to New Braunfels this morning and ran some errands.  I also got to get a much needed pedicure.

Tinsley walked around the nail place "talking" to everyone.
After that, we went to Target and HEB.

On Saturday, Tinsley attended Joslynn's 2nd birthday
party at Chuck E Cheese

Tinsley was really excited to see her buddies the Harvey boys at the party.

Tinsley was not too into any of the rides, but did enjoy walking around and looking at everything.

Joslynn's cake was adorable.

Ready for church this morning.

On the go

The Harvey's gave Tinsley a Trunki and she loves it!
She pulls it around everywhere and tries to climb in it.  I am thinking I am going to have to put it up somewhere until she is actually going somewhere.  Otherwise, it might be worn out from use around the house. :-)

Shop 'til you drop!

We made a quick trip to San Antonio today.  Tinsley was a little trooper as usual.  She is on the go all the time and keeping up with her is definitely different now that she is walking.

Tinsley's hair is now thick enough to hold a barrette.

Even the most hard core shoppers need a nap!

Tinsley's 1st Birthday Party

We decided to wait until the hustle and bustle of Christmas and the New Year was over to have Tinsley's birthday party.  I am so glad we did.  It worked out perfect!  So many of our family and friends were able to attend which made the day so special!

The theme was "sweet shop"

We had cupcakes and cake!

Candy, candy and more candy!

Kourtnee made these beautiful cookies in the shape of the number 1.
They were adorable and tasted soooo good!!!

CJ made these adorable and delicous cookies.

CJ also made these amazing cupcakes.

Toby had plenty of help with the cooking.
We had fried catfish, hushpuppies, and french fries.
There were also dips galore!
A special thank you to Alene for making the delicious
tartar sauce and ceviche!

I ordered a banner from etsy documenting the
1st year of Tinsley's life month by month

We put tables in the garage so there would be extra seating

This cute cowgirl loved all of her birthday gifts!

Time for cake!

We might have been waiting until Tinsley's
2nd birthday if we had waited for her to blow out the candle!

A few of Tinsley's great-grandparents- Dennis, Grandma and Gramps

Pinata time!  The little ones were not too into it.

All of the kids had a couple of turns and I think
everyone was beginning to worry that the pinata might not come open!

When the pinata FINALLY busted,
these kids had it cleaned up in no time flat!

You have to love Texas weather in January.
Everyone was able to stay and play outside until late in the evening.

Tinsley had a blast at her party.
She went home with Mom Mom and DD
and spent the night after all the fun.

Thanks again to everyone who came to Tinsley's party and helped to make her day so special!!!
