Desi's Graduation

Desiree graduated from Texas State University today.  We are so excited for Desi and so proud of her!  After the graduation, everyone went to El Ranchito to celebrate.

The graduate

Tinsley and Desi's niece Avery were both quite interested in Avery's daddy's phone :-)

After we got home tonight, Tinsley was ready for some quality time with Eagan. Much to Eagan's dismay, this meant chasing him all over the house!!!

On the go with Tinsley

Tinsley has had a busy start to the week.
Tinsley having breakfast Monday morning.  Mom sent me this picture and said "We all have our own way of eating".  I think we have a future cheerleader on our hands.  That looks like a beautiful toe touch to me!!!

"Don't worry Eagan, I will be back later"

New Trick

Tinsley has started going from a crawling position on her hands and knees into a sitting position.  This means that she pretty much gets wherever she wants to go.  She can roll(really quickly), get into a crawling position and then go from there to a sitting position.  It is amazing how fast she is growing up and how quickly she became so mobile!

In the process of going from crawling position to sitting position

I love that Tinsley's hair is getting thick enough to be able to wear a small bow without a headband.

Peek-a-Boo

Tinsley received an adorable peek-a-boo bear from Larianne.  It plays peek-a-boo with you when you press its foot.  It has quickly become one of Tinsley's favorite toys.  Thanks Larianne!

She is so funny when it first starts, she just sits and watches it for a few seconds and then she starts laughing and reaching for it.  So much fun!

Runaway

Tinsley decided that she did not want to wear a diaper this evening when I was in the process of changing her.  She is constantly on the move!

Busy Weekend

Tinsley has been on the go as usual this weekend!  She woke up bright and early Friday morning at 4:15!  She had a bottle, we played a little bit, she took a nap, and then woke up and had some breakfast.  This girl knows how to get the weekend started off right!

Happy after breakfast.

Tinsley and Eagan decided to do a little bit of sorting through her bow basket.

Tinsley says "Don't worry Eagan, I still love your tail better than any bow!"

I hope Eagan is enjoying his last few days of being able to get away from Tinsley.  She will be crawling any day.  She pushes up onto her hands and knees, rocks around and even scoots backwards.  She will be mobile in no time!

Tinsley's hair is really thickening up.  This morning, I clipped a bow in for a few minutes and it stayed!  I don't think it is quite thick enough yet to wear a bow without a headband all day, but we will be there shortly!
Ready to go with Grandmom.  They went and picked up Sherri, went and visited Gramps and Gran, had lunch with the ladies at Garcia's and then went to Floresville!  Tinsley is having a blast!

Saturday morning we went shopping with Grandmom and Aunt Whitney.  Grandmom shared her muffin with Tinsley before we left.

Headed home from our shopping excursion.

Saturday afternoon Tinsley and I attended her friend Bella's first birthday party!

Tinsley had a great time at the party!  Believe it or not, about 3 minutes after this picture was taken, Tinsley was fast asleep!!!  Partying is lots of fun, but apparently VERY tiring!

Sunday morning, we got up and played for a while before church.

Ready for church
When you put Tinsley in the carseat, she immediately pushes herself up and flips around to see who is in the front seat.  She laughs and loves to talk to grandmom(her usual chauffer).

What a fun, busy weekend!!!

Exciting News

Tinsley is going to have a new cousin in March!  Kyle and Desi are expecting.  We could not be more thrilled!  Desiree's official due date is March 26th.  I think an early birthday of March 15th(my birthday) would be perfect for the newest member of our family to arrive!  We couldn't be happier for Kyle and Desiree as well as Jim, Sherri, Kourtnee and Clay!

Decorating Aunt Whitney's apartment

Tinsley went to San Antonio today to assist Grandmom, Granddad and Aunt Whitney with decorating Aunt Whitney's apartment.  I can only imagine the help she must have provided.  Of course, the girls had to make a quick Target run!

We are so excited that Aunt Whitney has moved to San Antonio!  We can't wait to get to spend more time with her.  She moved into an apartment right by The Rim and La Cantera.  As much as we hate to do it, we know that we will have to suffer through and go visit her quite often and maybe even do a little bit of shopping. ;-)  Tinsley and Grandmom also have big plans regarding Fiesta Texas trips in the future which also just happens to be right next door to Aunt Whitney's new apartment!

Playing at Jim and Sherri's

Grandmom and Granddad have been helping Aunt Whitney move to San Antonio the past 2 days, so Tinsley has gone to Jim and Sherri's to play.  This morning when I took her, Gramps and Gran came out to see her right before I left.  We are so fortunate to have a family that loves Tinsley so much!  When I left Sherri's, Tinsley was playing on a pallet on the floor.  Sherri was on the pallet playing with her and Gramps and Gran were each sitting in a chair right by the pallet talking to her and watching her play.  What a lucky little girl!!!!  Here are a few pics of Tinsley this morning getting ready to go play.

Tinsley and Sherri joined Landree and Patty for lunch at Garcia's today.  Landree is on the left and Tinsley is on the right.

On the move

Tinsley loves her walker.  She can go pretty much anywhere she wants to in it.

She gets frustrated when she can't reach something while in the walker.  She was so funny tonight.  She backed up, turned around and then tried to back up to Eagan's food bowls to reach the food.  She is a mess!

If she can't get where she needs to be in her walker, she just rolls!

First Tooth

After months of hard work chewing, lots of drooling and many restless nights of sleep, Tinsley's first tooth has made its' big debut!  She is 7 months, 1 week and 4 days old(for documentation purposes).  Tinsley spent the day with Sherri and Jim because Grandmom and Granddad are helping aunt Whitney move to San Antonio.  When she got home, she was super restless and a little bit fussy.  We went into her room and were playing before bathtime.  I have been checking her mouth every morning and evening for weeks now and normally nothing.  But, tonight, wouldn't you know it, there it was!  It is on the bottom right.  I would have lost big money if I had been betting on which tooth would arrive first.  I just knew it would be the left bottom, the way that she has been chewing on that side.  Tinsley, you are growing up so fast and you already seem to LOVE proving mommy wrong!

You can barely see it breaking through in this pic.

5 days later, that little pearly white is breaking through!!!
