Tinsley loves to dance!

We got this dog that sings and dances a few weeks ago.  Tinsley loves it.  Here is our little dancer in action!

When Dad is in charge

Things sure are fun for Tinsley when she is with dad!  They check cows and play outside.  A little bit of dirt and grass are a sure sign of a good time, right?!?!?

Fittingly, she is wearing her "Wild about Daddy" outfit. :-)

Daddy and Jason put together Tinsley's car, but soon discovered that more work was involved after putting it together.  Tinsley wanted to be pushed around in it ALOT!  She loves to ride around and wave.  I think we may have a future pageant queen on our hands.  She is already working on her "wave".

Of course, Dad and Tinsley did a little bit of swinging. :-)

This is Tinsley's new "face".  She crinkles up her nose and has this funny little laugh.  The more you laugh at her, the more she does it.  Pretty cute!

We are so Thankful for Daddy and all that he does!

After all that fun, someone needed a nap! 

A Season of Thanks

Tinsley has been busy, busy, getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Working on getting another tooth- her shoe is one of her favorites.

(She only has about 20 teething rings, so this makes perfect sense)

Tinsley went to the state volleyball tournament with Grandmom and Granddad to cheer on her aunt Whitney's alma mater, the Poth Pirettes. 

They took home another 2A state championship!

I bought this Thanksgiving shirt last year and couldn't wait for Tinsley to wear it this year.  It says "Everyone is thankful for me."

If you ask Tinsley if she is going to be one, she will hold up her finger and show you her 1!

11 months old!

Tinsley, you are 11 months old!  It is hard to believe that one month from today we will be celebrating your First Birthday!!! 

A little bit about you at 11 months old.

      -    You weigh 22 pounds.

-    You have 4 teeth!  The top two and bottom two center.

-    You are wearing size 12 to 18 month clothing.

-    You are in size 4 diapers.

-    You are still not sleeping too great.  We are still up at least once a night, sometimes more than that.  You normally go to bed between 8-8:30.  You then wake up anywhere between 12-2.  After that, you may or may not wake up again before morning.  You wake up for the day between 5:30-6 a.m.  You are definitely a little early bird.

-    You are still not a great eater when it comes to food.  We went to the doctor regarding your eating and I will document that in a separate posting.

-    You are jabbering up a storm and you have started saying “words” which you seem to be associating with things/people.  You say “mama”, “dada”, “bye” and “Eagan”.  You don’t actually say “Eagan”.  You squeal “EEEEE” in delight when you see Eagan.   It is so sweet!  We think you are starting to say “hi” as well.  The other night, when daddy came home, you were sitting in the floor and it sounded like you said “hey”.  This is how daddy normally greets you when he comes home, so we think you actually were attempting to say it.

-    You will wave when someone tells you hi or bye. 

-    When we ask you if you are going to be “1”, you hold up one finger at us and smile.

-    You are really trying to walk.  You pull up on anything and everything and walk everywhere using one hand for balance.  You also will walk across the floor if you have something to hold onto.  You took two steps to me 3 nights ago, but so far, that is the only walking on your own we have seen out of you.

-     You love to dance!  When fast music comes on, you are a little dancing machine.  We bought a Christmas dog at Wal-Mart that sings and dances and you love to dance right along with it. 

-   You are a climber.  You climb over and on top of anything and everything.  I caught you on top of a storage container the other night.  We were in your room and I was putting clothes you have outgrown in a plastic storage container.  You were “helping” me by taking a piece of clothing out each time I folded and put something in.  I finally got you distracted long enough to finish putting the stuff in the container.  I put the container outside your door in the living room.  I walked into your closet to hang something up and you were playing in the floor in your room.  By the time I turned back around, you had made your way out of your room and into the living room.  You had climbed up onto the storage container and were sitting on it just as proud as could be!  You are also a fan of climbing up grandmom and granddad’s stairs.  You are fast and we have to watch you EVERY SECOND!!!

 We are loving every day watching you grow, learn and explore.  The past 11 months have gone by so quickly!  We love you so much sweet Tinsley!

Practice Makes Perfect

Tinsley is getting super fast walking with the assistance of her "walker".  This plays music when she pushes it and it is a sound frequently heard throughout the house.  She took two steps to me yesterday from Toby, but so far, that has been the extent of her walking by herself.  She is getting more and more brave.  She walks all around the house holding onto the wall or any piece of furniture.  She can stand and balance on her own for a few seconds, but then normally drops down to the floor and crawls to whatever she wants if it is not within easy reach.  I know she will be on the move walking on her own in no time flat!

Milkaholic

Clay and Kourtnee got Tinsley this adorable onesie that has cow print and says "Milkaholic" on the front.  It looks too cute and couldn't be more fitting since Tinsley is not too big on anything except milk.

Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon

My dad and Whitney ran the 2011 Rock-n-Roll 1/2 Marathon today.  Way to go Whitney and Granddad!  We are so proud of y'all!

Santa Part 1

Tinsley went to see Santa Claus for the first time today.  We have an appointment scheduled with Heirloom for the day after Thanksgiving, but I couldn't resist taking her today to see him in New Braunfels.  She did great!  Before we left the house, mom, Toby and I were discussing how we thought she would do.  Toby's prediction- "She will be serious".  He hit the nail on the head.  She was serious, and then she got upset. 

Definitely not too sure what we are about to get her into.
