Tinsley had her 1st week in her 6 week series of labs yesterday. Her ANC has improved from 1020 last week to 2770 this week! We are thrilled! Toby and I had been very nervous about her having surgery with her counts so low. We want her body to be ready to fight off any infection it may need to fight. Tinsley did great today. She got a little bit upset when they drew her blood, but calmed down immediately after they were done.
We waited for labs patiently and talked about how brave she is.
A sucker was also a must for the wait.
She did so good that we stopped at The Cake Shop for a cupcake afterwards. Dad agreed that the Minnie Mouse balloon was a must since she did so good. :-)
Tinsley will have her tonsils and adenoids removed Thursday. We are ready to have it done and hope that it will help her to stay well. Thanks for checking in on us!
