Busy Weekend

My dad's mother's brother passed away this week at the age of 88.  Tinsley and I went to the visitation on Friday evening.  It was nice to catch up with family that we don't get to see often, even though the circumstances were sad.

I am loving these shoes.  Honestly, I love everything about these little feet!

After the visitation, we stopped by and visited our friends the Dixon's.
Kade was less than thrilled to take his picture, but did it for me anyway. ;-)

Saturday, we attended Tinsley's cousin Calley's first birthday party.

The birthday girl and big sister Mady

Drew will be 8 in a few more weeks!

Calley and Tinsley

Tinsley found Calley's birthday balloon- it had a sucker attached to it.
What could be better?!?!?!?!

Tinsley is starting to look so much more like a little girl than a baby.
She is growing up so fast!

After the birthday party, we went to Jenna and Josh's wedding reception.
It was absolutely beautiful and we are thrilled for Jenna and Josh.
Tinsley was bright-eyed and ready to party!

These two photos were taken in the car after the reception before we changed Tinsley into her pajamas.  She had a blast at the reception, but was super tired after her fun-filled day.

Good night, sweet Tinsley.

It rained on Sunday.  This photo was taken in the morning before the rain was done for the day.  We ended up getting right at 2.75 inches.  So thankful!

Tinsley loves to look out the door at our weimaraner Trixy.

We hope you had a super fun-filled weekend!

12 Years

Happy Anniversary to us!
Toby and I have been married for 12 years today!  Yay us!!!  Toby is still out of town working, but we will celebrate when he gets home.  I am so thankful to have Toby to share my life with.  These beautiful roses made my day!  :-)

Grandmom's Supervisor

Tinsley decided to have a cookie this morning while
supervising Grandmom's cooking.

It must have been a delicious cookie!!!!

Whatever it takes!

Apparently Tinsley and Grandmom are getting ready to go "teepeeing".
(Or, grandmom might just be attempting to get something done, and this is what pacified Tinsley)  Whatever it takes!

New Shoes

Grandmom bought Tinsley some "blingy" flip flops.  She loves playing with our flip flops, especially the "blingy" ones.  Tinsley was all decked out ready to go to their Friday "lunch with the ladies".

Eagan was unsure about the bling.

Finishing up her puzzle before they left.

Checking out her new shoes.  :-)

Where's Tinsley?

We played a little game of peek-a-boo while I was getting ready this morning.  Tinsley loves to crawl in our shower and play.

Excuse the shower curtain that obviously needs to be changed.
Gotta love well water!

Tinsley loves Eagan

This picture makes me laugh so hard.  She was cracking up at him.  She thinks he is hillarious!

Eagan loves Tinsley too and is never far away from her.

Can't a dog get any rest around here?!?!?!?!?

Not what I intended

Tinsley loves to climb.  She is constantly attempting to go up the stairs at mom and dad's.  She climbs up the step on our bathtub in our bathroom and pulls herself up.  This is not how I ever dreamed Tinsley would play with her "house" when we got it.

You can't really tell because of the angle of the picture, but the part of the toy she is standing on is pretty elevated.  She has no fear and seems to be pretty impressed with herself when she is able to get up there.

She does also play with it as intended(ocassionally)

Taking care of Daddy's horses

Someone has to take care of the animals around here while dad's gone!!!

Tinsley LOVES being outside around the animals!

Halloween Preview

Heirloom Portraits is going to be taking pictures at the "trunk or treat" on Halloween at the Baptist Church.  They asked if we would bring Tinsley to be their "model" for their advertisement.  I think she makes a pretty cute little "model" if I do say so myself!

Shopping is serious business!

Tinsley and I went to the mall today after we dropped Toby off at the airport.  I woke Tinsley up to go in, so she was a bit serious when we first go there.  That soon wore off.  She made the trip interesting to say the least and I told Toby that she probably saved us quite a bit of money as we didn't stay long.  We went to Macy's to get makeup and all was well.  She sat in the stroller and smiled at the ladies at Clinique.  Next stop was Trade Secret.  Tinsley decided that she wanted out of her stroller while I was checking out.  No problem, I got her out after paying and happily put my bags in the stroller and carried her.  I decided that things were going so well, that we would make a quick stop in The Children's Place to see if they had anything Tinsley needed I wanted Tinsley to have.  While in The Children's Place, I noticed that Tinsley was missing one of her shoes.  This was of course the first day she had worn these adorable shoes(they are orange tennis shoes that match her Halloween/Thanksgiving stuff).  I took the bags out of the stroller to look around the area where we were in the store to see if the shoe had just come off.  I put Tinsley in the stroller and did not snap it.  By the time I turned back around, Little Miss Houdini was turned around in the stroller wiggling her way out and had 3 shirts from the nearby display in her hands.  I managed to get her out, put the bags in the stroller, fold the shirts and put them back on the display, and paid for the one hat I decided we couldn't live without.  We went back down the mall to Trade Secret and found the missing shoe.  By this time, I was worn out and decided we had probably bought everything we needed.  I did make one last stop at Visible Changes to buy a detangling spray that I like for my hair.  While I was looking at the products, this older gentlemen told Tinsley "Oh, you are so cute!  Let Grandpa Roy hold you while mommy gets her haircut".  Too funny!  If he hadn't been about 100 years old, I might have been a little bit freaked out.  I thanked him and told him we were just buying product, no haircuts today.  :-)

Worn out from our shopping experience
(at least I was, Tinsley is probably just tired of having her picture taken)

Daddy's Home!

Tinsley and I couldn't be happier.  Toby came home last Thursday.  He has to go back to New Jersey tomorrow.  He is currently managing for Compass, so he thinks he will only have to be gone for a few more weeks and then get to come home and work from the house.  It has been so nice to have him home.  Time goes by so quickly when he is here.  Tinsley has been loving her quality time with dad.  I told Toby the other night that I love nothing more than hearing the two of them playing.  I could hear them playing in her room the other day and she was laughing so hard at him.  What lucky girls we are!!!

Tinsley loves to check the cows :-)

Birthday Party Fun

Tinsley attended two birthday parties today.  Her friends Journi and Jack both turned one this week!

Leggo my Eggo!!!

Getting ready to go.  Tinsley looked so grown up in her jeans and tennis shoes!

This morning, we attended Journi's party.  Tinsley had so much fun!
Thanks for letting us share your special day with you Journi!

Journi's mom took Journi and Tinsley for a ride in Journi's wagon.
Tinsley loved it!

When we got to the party, Tinsley and Journi were giving each other hugs.
I did not have my camera out to capture it, but they were so sweet!

Journi looked adorable.  Her outfit matched her invitations and her cake/party theme.  So fun!

Tinsley attempts to stand up no matter where she is.  She is a little daredevil!

Nap time, ready to recharge and get ready for party #2!

This afternoon, we attended Jack's birthday party.  Jack is a lucky little man.  I have numerous friends from school that have had babies within the past year and all of us had girls with the exception of Johanna.
Jack is going to have all the girls chasing him!!!
Hugs from Landree's big sister Aubree.

It is pretty hard to get all these little ones still long enough to get a picture.  Landree is on the far left, Helen is at the bottom of the picture, Tinsley crawling, Jack sitting and Aubree on the ottoman.

Tinsley REALLY wants to walk!

Jack's mom made his cake.  I was super-impressed!

Thanks for letting us share your special day Jack!  Tinsley had so much fun playing and I enjoyed getting to catch up with friends that I don't get to see nearly often enough.

Getting her bath so we will be squeaky clean for church tomorrow!

Stand Up :-)

Tinsley is pulling up on EVERYTHING!

Tinsley has a beautiful night light with her name on it from Grandmom and Granddad.  Because I would like for it to not be in a million pieces, we are saving it.  I figure that someday, we will have a night time routine in which Tinsley turns her night light on.  For now, she seems pretty interested in this one.  She is so curious!

Bedtime Fun!

Tinsley was so excited when we put Eagan in bed with her for a few minutes.  As you can see, Eagan was not quite as excited.
