Tinsley is 7 months old! Tinsley, we cannot believe how fast you are growing up and we are amazed by you everyday. You are so happy! You bring more joy to our lives than we could ever put into words.
- You are wearing size 12 month pajamas. I say pajamas, because you now wear 2 piece pajama sets. The pajamas with the feet in them zip up in the 12 month size which you do not like. So, you now wear “big girl” pajamas.
- You wear between 6-12 month clothing in regular clothes, just depending on the brand.
- You are in size 3 diapers. I think we are currently using our last box of size 3’s. They are starting to get a little short on you.
- You love to eat, but are a VERY PICKY eater. The only food that you will eat is apples and bananas with mixed cereal. We have tried many other foods, all of which you either refuse or gag yourself on until you throw up. So, for now, we eat apples and bananas with mixed cereal twice a day.
- You still take your bottle really well. You take a 5 oz bottle 4 times a day and then a 7-8 oz bottle at night before bed.
- You are officially out of your nap nanny. You got too tall for it. You now sleep in your port-a-crib beside mommy and daddy’s bed.
- You are still not sleeping too great. You normally go to sleep anywhere between 8-9:30 and then wake up around 4 hours later. Most nights, you will take a pacifier at this point and go back to sleep, but some nights, you take a bottle at this time. You normally end up in bed with mommy or in your swing sometime during the night. You sleep really good in your swing. I don’t want to put you in there all night as I think it is really important that you get used to sleeping laying down. I am planning to have you try sleeping in your baby bed in your room for at least a portion of the night sometime this week. Daddy will be home tomorrow for a little while and I think we will try this while he is at home. I prefer to have you in my room with me when he is gone(I have a feeling I will also prefer this when he is at home, but I know that the time is coming for you to go to your own room at night).
- You are a little wiggle worm! Anytime someone is holding you, they can consider themselves a human jungle gym.
- You roll EVERYWHERE!
- You sit unassisted for as long as you want. You normally sit and play and then lean forward and end up on your hands and knees for a second. You then end up on your stomach and roll to wherever you want to go.
- You REALLY want to crawl. You push up on your hands and knees and then kind of scoot backwards.
- You love your walker and love to use it to get wherever you want to go. You get really frustrated if you get stuck in it and can’t make it go.
- You now reach for whoever you want. This is the BEST! I love it when you reach for me. I also love seeing you reach for others that you love.
- You still do not have any teeth, but you sure are working hard to try to get one. You chew on anything you can get into your mouth.
- Your favorite place to be is still outside. Anytime you get upset or fussy, we can take you outside and you calm right down. You LOVE being with grandmom and granddad watering your flowers or “helping” them clean the pool.
You were so happy today when we took your 7 month chair pictures, so I had to include quite a few!
You love to chew on your toes!
The zebra is one of your favorite toys. You love to press its' ear and make it gallop. You impressed us the other day(what's new)- you picked up Eagan's zebra and were trying to squeeze its' ear. We were so surprised that you were able to associate the two!
You like to explore around your room and when you decide you want something, it is hard to distract you with something else.
We love you so much Tinsley and can’t believe you are already 7 months old!!!
