Grandmom is doing good- she already started her Christmas shopping.  Tinsley found one of the gifts on the bed in the spare bedroom and just knew it must be for her!

Busy Tinsley

It's hard to get a good picture of Tinsley sitting still these days. 

As soon as she sees the camera, she starts coming to me and wants the camera/cell phone or anything else that we have.  :-)

She loves the case for the camera that I keep in my purse.

9-23-11 Bathtime with her Princesses!

Funny story about Tinsley and Grandmom this week.  Mom and Tinsley were up in my mom and dad's room.  Mom was doing her hair and makeup and getting dressed for them to go run errands.   Mom said that she had the bedroom door closed so that Tinsley could not "escape"(she likes to attempt to high-tail it to the stairs).  Mom went into her closet which is in my parents bathroom.  She said that all of a sudden she heard the bathroom door close.  She walked out of the closet and realized that Tinsley had shut the bathroom door.  Tinsley immediately became quite upset that she could not get to grandmom and began banging on the door and crying.  Mom said that she could not tell if Tinsley was standing up against the door or sitting at the door, so she did not want to open the door and risk her falling down(there is a dresser right by the door and she was afraid Tinsley would fall into it).  Mom kept saying as calmly as possible "Tinsley, please back up so grandmom can open the door."  She said Tinsley just started screaming louder and louder and banging harder and harder.  Luckily, mom remembered she had her cell phone with her in the bathroom.  She called my dad who was downstairs and asked him to come up and get Tinsley. Tinsley is quick!  We can't turn our backs for a second. ;-)

9 months

Tinsley, you are 9 months old!  ¾ of the way to a year!!!!!!  It is crazy how quickly time is flying by.  You are so much fun and have a great personality.  You love people and don’t want to miss a thing.

At 9 months, you are:

      -         Wearing 12 month clothing.

-         Wearing size 4 diapers

-         You weighed 20.5 lbs when we took you to the doctor a week and a half ago and you were 28 ¾ inches long.

-         You are still not really too into food, but are doing great on breastmilk. 

-         You laugh out loud constantly!  You crack us up which then gets you laughing even harder.

-         You jabber constantly.  “Da, da, da” is a favorite.  On occasion, I hear “ma, ma, ma” which makes me so happy even though I know you are not really associating these sounds with us yet.

-         You still really like your walker.  You are FAST!!!!

-         You LOVE being outside.

-         Changing your diaper and dressing you these days is a bit like wrestling an alligator.  You flip and turn and move constantly. J

-         You crawl super fast EVERYWHERE.

-         You are pulling up onto everything. 

-         You still go to bed around 8 or 8:30 and normally wake up at least once, sometimes two or three times.  You normally wake for the day around 5 or 5:30. 

-         You normally take a morning nap and afternoon nap.  Your morning nap is normally between 8 and 9 since you wake up so early and your afternoon nap time varies. 

-         You still love your swing.  It is still a saving grace on nights when you won’t sleep.  You sleep in your swing pretty much at all nap times.  Not sure what we are going to do when you outgrow it (which will be soon).

-         You still have 2 teeth, but you are working hard chewing on everything attempting to get more.

Tinsley, you are a blast!  We love you so much.  J
