10 months

Tinsley, you are 10 months old.  The best way to describe you would be “on the go”!!!  You crawl, roll, and walk when pulled up onto anything and everything!  You are so much fun!

A little bit about you at 10 months:

-         You are wearing size 4 diapers.

-         You wear size 12-18 month clothing.

-         You seem to be a bit more interested in eating.  In the morning, you eat a little bit of dry eggo waffle while I feed you your breakfast which still consists of apples, bananas and mixed cereal baby food.

-         You still eat best for grandmom.  Granddad and I were convinced you went on a “hunger strike” last week while grandmom was in New York as you did not eat very well.(It was likely due to the fact that tooth #3 was trying to come in)

-         You have 3 teeth!  Two on the bottom and one on the top right.

-         You jabber constantly.  You will occasionally put one hand up, look at us and jabber away.  You then laugh or just crawl away.  So funny!

-         You are really attempting to mimic us.  Daddy smacks his lips while playing with you and you copy him and laugh as if he is just the funniest.  The other night, you were climbing all over me and I was fake screaming “ahhh, ahhh” and you started laughing and making the same sound.  When we sing to you, you will hum and make sounds “singing” along.

-         You still make your “da,da, da” and “ma, ma, ma” sounds, but I still don’t think you are associating it with dad and mom.(We still love hearing these sounds) J

-         You still give sloppy open mouth kisses when we are lucky!

-         You love to sit and spin in a circle.  You REALLY like to do this when you have something you think you are maybe not supposed to have.

-         You are starting to sort of “dance” when we do a silly dance.  You will move your hands up and down and sort of bounce and smile.  It is super cute!

-         You are still waking up at least once a night, however the past few nights have been much more often.  We are going to see the doctor this afternoon to see if we can figure out why you are so congested and not feeling to great, most notably at night.

-    You pull up onto everything and can easily walk when holding onto something.

As I said before, you are constantly on the move.  Taking your “chair picture” this month was definitely a challenge.  Poor Grandmom was likely exhausted as she had the task of attempting to keep you still while I snapped away with the camera.  You are keeping us on our toes for sure!

Here is our 10 month chair picture and (quite) a few of the outtakes. I love that they show your active personality!

Give it up mom!!!

What a fast, fun 10 months it has been!
